Patience. Such a big learning for me… I can be impetuous and so hurry-up-right-now-oh-my-god-how-much-longer…
Three year ago, we tried everything to create shade over this pergola. Nothing worked. Shades blew off in the wind. Curtains blocked the view of the grapes and that stunning sunset. A tarp was, damn, it was just ugly.
I came up with the idea to grow greenery, to plant grape vines at each corner.
Which meant waiting. Eek! Waiting! Ya mean, I gotta be patient?!
I have been. Sorta kinda.
And Mother Nature has not disappointed.
