We are allowing the other to show us who and what they are right now rather than bringing all the baggage from yesterday into our present vision.
Easy-peasy? Not necessarily. But not hard either. Just uncomfortable because it asks ego to take a back seat… and it’s unfamiliar territory. Uncharted land! But oh so worth the trekking, guaranteed!
