This is a brave act indeed.
I remember when I just could NOT let myself make “mistakes.” I was mortified by my imperfections, or seeming imperfections, and strived-struggled for complete A PLUS in every single area of my life. Every single aspect had to be perfect… or else.
It was a hold-over from childhood. Hurt people hurt people… and the onus has been on me to work through the pain, the trauma, and on into the wide, spacious place of FREEDOM.
It’s been a lot. It’ been a journey. It’s been totally worth it.
I’m still on it… and having a freakin’ blast. Life is just so wonder-filled! Joy-filled!
